MBR City has one venue that anyone outside the district has heard of, and for five months of the year it costs ten dirhams to get in.
Dubai Racing Carnival dates and prices
The Carnival opens on Friday 6 November 2026 and covers 16 race meetings at Meydan Racecourse on Al Meydan Road in Nad Al Sheba. General admission starts at AED 10; Paddock Garden access is AED 75; hospitality packages begin at AED 345.
What else is open
The club lists dining at Bisou, Alba and Himitsu, the Parade Ring Lounge and the Finish Line Brunch. Behind-the-scenes stable tours return from October, before the racing starts. Memberships cover all sixteen meetings.
Where it sits in the district
Meydan Racecourse is inside MBR City, on the Nad Al Sheba side. It is the district's largest public building and the reason Al Meydan Road exists in the shape it does.
The ten-dirham ticket is the fact worth knowing, because it changes what the racecourse is for a resident: not an occasion, but somewhere to go on a Friday evening for less than a cinema seat. The stable tours are the other underused thing here — they run from October, which is before the season, and they are the only time the working side of the site is open to people who are not owners. If you live in the district, the practical planning note is the reverse of a visitor's: the sixteen meetings are the sixteen evenings when Al Meydan Road and the Nad Al Sheba approaches carry crowd traffic, and the big nights in March are the ones to leave the car at home for.
