The Dubai Shopping Festival returns for its 32nd edition from 4 December 2026 to 17 January 2027: 45 days of promotions, fireworks, concerts and markets across the city, run by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment.
What is new
The Beach Canteen, the festival's food market on the sand, opens a first edition at Nessnass Beach in Jumeirah alongside its usual site, according to the announcement reported on 15 October.
In the district
The festival has no site in MBR City, but it overlaps the Dubai Racing Carnival's December and January fixtures at Meydan, and the racecourse's own programme runs its festival evenings in those weeks. Nad Al Sheba Gardens Mall and the Meydan One site are the district's retail inside the promotion.
The calendar
The day-by-day programme, fireworks sites and concert dates are published on the Visit Dubai page through November and December.
DSF is the one period of the year when MBR City's position between Downtown and the airport turns from an advantage into a cost: Al Khail Road carries the festival's traffic both ways every evening for six weeks. Residents who can shift their commute earlier do; the rest learn the Meydan Road back route to Business Bay. The racecourse is the district's own festival venue, and the carnival nights in late December are the ones to book, because they sell to the city's visitors as well as its residents.
