The Roads and Transport Authority is staging its own electric-vehicle show. EV World 2026, the Dubai International Electric Vehicle Exhibition and Conference, runs 10–12 November 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre. It is the first edition.
The size
More than 300 companies exhibiting, 70 speakers, and the RTA expects more than 10,000 visitors over the three days. The theme is Driving a Smart and Sustainable Mobility Future.
What is on the floor
Manufacturers, charging-network operators, battery and fleet companies, and the authority's own exhibits on the city's charging plan and its autonomous-vehicle trials. The conference runs alongside, with sessions on policy, infrastructure and fleet electrification.
From MBR City
DWTC is about 15 minutes by Al Khail Road and Sheikh Zayed Road, or the Red Line from Business Bay to World Trade Centre station, one stop past Emirates Towers.
For a resident of the district the useful hall is charging, not cars. MBR City was built with private garages and almost no public charging, and the companies that sell home and community chargers to developers are the ones who will decide whether a villa compound here gets points in its car park. The second thing to ask about is the RTA's own plan for public chargers on Al Meydan Street and at the Meydan Hotel, which the authority has mentioned and not mapped.
